Overview
Challenge
The debate about digitalisation in schools is heated: tablets and screen time are under fire, and digital learning tools are quickly dismissed as technical gimmicks. SchuBu did not want to be seen as a mere technology provider, but as an education provider focused on good teaching, the joy of learning and real relief for teachers.
Solution
Following a strategy meeting and a PR approach for 2026 and 2027, we positioned SchuBu with topics that directly concern teachers, head teachers and parents. At the start of the school year, a press release featuring founding partner Paul Beyer Klinkosch showed what genuinely eases the workload of teachers, who spend more than 13 hours a week on average on preparation and marking.
As a second step, we are taking up the education policy debate on delaying the issue of digital devices, arguing that the quality of teaching matters, not the medium.
Impact
The very first press release made an impact: Kurier reported on digital lesson planning with SchuBu, as did Bezirksjournal.
