Overview

Pliant, founded in May 2020, offers modern corporate credit cards. The convenient, easy-to-use card management platform enables flexible, individual card limits and real-time reporting, and integrates seamlessly into existing accounting and travel expense management tools and processes. In addition, Pliant offers competitive terms with cashbacks, partner deals and other useful features.

Challenge

The number of digital financial products on the market is enormous. On top of that, the fintech segment in particular is often not only fiercely contested because of strong, established competitors but also faces bigger challenges from time to time. Our task is to make the B2B product known in the target group and at the same time to set it apart positively from the competition. The aim is to place Pliant’s USPs in the relevant media and blogs in such a way that awareness grows and the product can establish itself further on the German and Austrian market. The founder is also being placed as an expert on fintech topics in major mass media, to build trust in the brand and the company.

Solution

As a PR agency and mouthpiece in the German-speaking region, we place the product, the company and the founder in the relevant renowned daily newspapers and business magazines, as well as blogs, podcasts and other financial media.

We organise interviews and editorial tours and position the company’s messages in the public eye in a targeted way.

Impact

The company’s profile in the German-speaking region was noticeably raised. Through interviews in daily newspapers such as FAZ or Die Presse, guest articles and publications in Austria’s largest daily newspaper, more than five million readers were reached in the first two months.
