Overview

Founded in 2016, Greenstorm surprised the start-up world with a very special kind of business model: the company equips hotels internationally with new e-bikes and e-cars and receives hotel vouchers in return, which are sold at a discount via an online platform. After a season in the hotels, the e-bikes are serviced by Greenstorm and resold as used bikes. In recent years, Greenstorm has achieved impressive growth and has been Europe’s largest e-bike dealer since 2019.

Challenge

Greenstorm’s business model is a genuine success story – but also highly unconventional. To drive the company’s expansion in Germany and Austria further, a strong public profile was therefore needed. On the one hand, the aim was to convey Greenstorm’s positive entrepreneurial journey. On the other hand, a stage had to be created for the applications of this extraordinary business model. An integral part of this approach was addressing B2C and B2B media at the same time.

Solution

To achieve this, our communications strategy relies on an interplay of business and service topics. This allowed us to raise awareness of Greenstorm’s development and its importance for Tyrol as a business location, while bringing the start-up’s expertise in e-mobility closer to a broad public. In addition to classic press releases and editorial tours, we are also increasingly focusing on interviews with quality media.
