Overview
Challenge
Buildots’ business model is revolutionary – but still very unconventional for the construction industry in the DACH region. To drive digital transformation in an industry rooted in handshake deals and personal relationships, led by Buildots’ AI software, a strong public profile is needed in Germany. On the one hand, the entrepreneurial story had to be conveyed positively to the specific target group of engineers, architects, construction planners and project managers. On the other hand, a stage had to be created for the application of the innovative business model. An essential part of this strategy is, among other things, site visits to various construction projects that use the software in Germany.
Solution
To achieve this, our communications strategy relies on a combination of coverage of specific construction projects where the AI software is in use and positive company news, such as the start-up’s funding rounds and other important milestones. In this way, we are able to raise awareness of Buildots’ development and its importance for the construction industry, while bringing the start-up’s expertise in construction management closer to a broad public. Alongside classic press releases, we are also increasingly relying on interviews with quality media and construction site visits.
