Overview

PILLAR GmbH, based in Munich, plans and builds solar carports for municipalities, businesses and logistics companies, turning car parks into sites for electricity generation. We position founder and managing director Vasyl Betsa as an expert on car park photovoltaics, energy sharing and the use of sealed surfaces.

Challenge

Car parks offer vast, largely untapped solar potential, yet many projects fail due to planning, structural or regulatory issues. As a young company in a growing market, PILLAR needed to establish itself as a competent partner for municipalities, businesses and the energy trade press, and to stand apart from pure installation firms.

Solution

Following a strategy workshop, we developed a communication concept with clear thematic pillars. Press releases highlight the untapped solar potential of Germany’s car parks, the opportunities of energy sharing following the legal reform, and common planning mistakes with solar carports.

In addition, we placed guest articles by Vasyl Betsa in energy, construction and digital media, launched interview offers and supported the company at Intersolar with scheduled media interviews.

Impact

Within a few months, more than 20 articles appeared in energy, construction, real estate and business media, including pv magazine, Solarserver, Photovoltaik, energate messenger, top agrar, Windkraft-Journal, stadt+werk, Das Grundeigentum, Bauen aktuell, Firmenauto and MM Maschinenmarkt.
