Overview

KAPO Fenster und Türen is a long-established Styrian maker of high-quality timber windows with almost 100 years of history. The company produces at a new site at the Ökopark Hartberg. In 2026 we supported KAPO in two projects: its green bond on the CONDA Capital Market platform, and its production entirely without plastic and on its own power.

Challenge

Windows rarely make headlines, even though they are key to energy efficiency, renovation and healthy living. KAPO wanted to use two occasions: to draw investors’ attention to a digital funding round, and to show how consistently green the company works, in the region as well as in business and trade media.

Solution

In the first press release we linked the green bond to Austria’s need for building renovation and to biocide-free timber windows. We also prepared an interview with the regional paper WOCHE. In summer a second press release followed on the new site at the Ökopark Hartberg. It is built in timber on a former landfill, generates more energy over the year than production needs, and deliberately makes no plastic windows.

Both releases went to business, construction, energy and regional media in Austria.

Impact

The two projects produced 15 articles. They appeared in Kronen Zeitung (Styria edition, print and online), Kleine Zeitung, Börse-Express, energate messenger and Steirische Wirtschaft, among others. Trade media such as a3BAU, building times, Handwerk + Bau and Der Installateur added to this, along with several pieces on MeinBezirk.
