Overview

Das Gesunde Tier, based in Thalfang in Rhineland-Palatinate, offers pet food, supplementary feed, health checks and veterinary advice for dogs, cats and horses from a single source, following a holistic health concept. Since April 2026 we have handled its press relations. We position the brand as a reliable source of guidance for pet owners, with the company’s vets as its experts.

Challenge

Many pet owners today are well informed but unsure what to believe: advice is contradictory, products promise a lot, and the internet says everything and its opposite. The brand’s holistic 5-E concept is in-depth and needs explaining. It must not come across as esoteric. Das Gesunde Tier should not be seen as just another pet food brand, but as a credible voice on animal health.

Solution

After a strategy workshop in April 2026 we built a topic plan. It links seasonal health questions with the vets’ expertise. A press release goes out every month, on topics such as allergies and gut health, frequent changes of diet, summer risks and online vet consultations, or the immune system in autumn.

We also arrange expert interviews and handle media enquiries. We organise editorial product tests with journalists and publish expert articles in the Burda Expert Circle.

Impact

Since May 2026, more than 15 articles have appeared in consumer and trade media. They include BILD, Bild der Frau, SUPERillu, Frau im Trend, Berliner Kurier, freundin.de, petbook and like-online, plus a radio piece.
