Overview

Tumodo is a business travel and travel management platform headquartered in Dubai that launched in Germany in 2026. Since summer 2026 we have supported its market entry with a strategy workshop, ongoing press relations and interview offers. Its face in Germany is Robert Löschke, Managing Director Germany.

Challenge

The German business travel market is mature and shaped by well-known providers. A newcomer from the Gulf region starts out unknown. At the same time, companies are paying more and more attention to costs, geopolitical risk and their duty of care towards travelling staff. Our task was to give Tumodo a clear profile from day one: not just another booking tool, but a partner that helps when something goes wrong on the road.

Solution

We started with a strategy workshop in July 2026 and a share-of-voice analysis of the DACH market. From these we developed topics that draw on Tumodo’s experience in the Gulf region, where the company had to coordinate thousands of short-notice rebookings during airspace closures. The first press release on the German launch asked what new risk management for business travel needs to look like when airspace closures, extreme weather and cyberattacks upset travel plans.

A guidance piece on companies’ duty of care for business travellers followed. In parallel, we are working with Tumodo on its own data for exclusive stories in business media. We also regularly review coverage of business travel to find new opportunities.

Impact

The German launch was covered by fvw Travel Talk, business-travel.de, mobility.one and Mittelstandsjournal, among others. The duty-of-care topic was also picked up by like-online and Gastgewerbe-Magazin. The work is ongoing, and further stories based on Tumodo’s own data are in preparation.
