Overview

foodora is one of Europe’s leading quick commerce and food delivery platforms. Since August 2024, we have been supporting foodora in the strategic placement of European corporate and market topics in international EU media and in positioning its top management as opinion leaders in the European retail, tech and commerce debate.

Challenge

foodora operates in a highly competitive, dynamic market environment that is strongly shaped by regulatory, technological and societal developments. The aim was to place pan-European topics consistently across national borders, present complex market data in an understandable way and at the same time strengthen the international visibility of the management. A credible positioning around quick commerce, affordability, innovation and responsible growth was particularly important.

Solution

To achieve these goals, a comprehensive EU PR strategy was implemented. It combined data-driven storytelling formats, corporate and product PR, and targeted interview placements with Herbert Haas, Chief International Officer of foodora.

In addition, an international press trip to foodora’s Vienna location was organised, giving media representatives exclusive insights into operations, technological innovation and strategic partnerships. The content was distributed in a targeted way to leading European general, trade and business media and continuously developed along relevant EU debates.

Impact

The collaboration led to exceptionally high international media presence for foodora. Interviews, data-based stories, corporate topics and product innovations were placed in leading European trade and consumer media, including commerce, tech, retail and business outlets as well as online and video platforms with strong reach.

The measures strengthened foodora’s position as a relevant voice in the European quick commerce market, increased the visibility of key members of management and contributed significantly to strategic brand perception at EU level.
