Overview

Ideal Work is an Italian manufacturer of seamless wall and floor systems such as Microtopping® and decorative cement surfaces. We represent the brand across the entire DACH region, raising its profile in architecture, construction, interior design and hospitality media in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Challenge

Despite its international reference projects, Ideal Work was barely known in German-speaking markets. Its audience of architects, planners, applicators and operators mainly reads trade media and expects well-founded, project-based content rather than product advertising. On top of this, three markets with distinct media landscapes and priorities had to be addressed.

Solution

Following a strategy meeting, we developed a DACH strategy with country-specific topics. Press releases pick up industry trends and link them to reference projects: demand for Italian design craftsmanship, the strain on surfaces in hotels and hospitality, the transformation of retail spaces, renovation pressure in Swiss hotels and the effect of colour on large seamless surfaces.

Each release is adapted for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Media relations are complemented by bylined trade articles, for example on an alpine hotel project, as well as ongoing monitoring and monthly reporting.

Impact

Within the first months, articles appeared in numerous trade and industry media across all three countries, including Allgemeine Bauzeitung, Bauen aktuell, Building.net, Superior Hotel, Gastgewerbe Magazin, HOGAPAGE, Küche + Architektur, Gebäudehülle, Handwerk + Bau, ImmoFokus and the Swiss baurundschau.
