Overview

yoummday is a family-owned scale-up from Munich, founded in 2016. It runs customer service and sales for other companies, working with more than 27,000 vetted talents worldwide and its own AI technology. Since August 2026 we have been developing its communications strategy and handling its press relations in Germany. At the centre is founder and co-CEO Dr Klaus Harisch. He stands for customer service in which AI strengthens people rather than replacing them.

Challenge

When people talk about customer service, it is usually about automation and cutting costs with AI. A provider that relies on people supported by AI can easily look like an old-style call centre. We had to position yoummday clearly between traditional outsourcing and pure AI providers. That called for topics that interest people outside the industry, too.

Solution

In a kick-off workshop we worked with yoummday on a messaging house, spokesperson profiles, the founder story and a fact sheet. From these we built a PR roadmap. The first press release drew on figures from the Qualtrics XM Institute: in Germany alone, poor customer experiences put around 111 billion US dollars of revenue at risk. This made a strong case against saving money through AI alone.

We also write expert articles for IT and digital media and prepare interview offers for Klaus Harisch. Further topics on e-commerce and energy are in progress.

Impact

The first press release was picked up by QZ online, Digital Magazin and experten.de, among others. We are in talks with editors at major business media about it. The work has only just begun, and further expert articles and interviews are in preparation.
